ELVIAL: Sponsor of the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects - 16.12.2023 to 14.01.2024!
On Saturday, December 16, the opening of the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects was held, sponsored by ELVIAL, at Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation of AUTH, organized by the Hellenic Institute of Architecture in collaboration with the Department of Architecture and Engineering of AUTH.
The aim of the events of the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects is to gather a representative sample of the activities of young architects, to highlight new creators, and to exchange views on the development of architectural thought and the production of architectural work in Greece today.
The event opened with the greeting of Anastasios Tellios, President of the Department of Architectural Engineering of AUTH, who mentioned how important it is that the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects started this time from Thessaloniki, thus emphasizing the architectural tradition that the city has.
After the announcement of the 42 winning proposals, the public toured the exhibition. Over 400 guests had the opportunity to chat with the distinguished architects and see all the competition participations, short videos with the architects commenting on their work, and selected prototypes from the proposals that stood out.
ELVIAL supports the event for the promotion of young architects and the role of new Greek architecture in the constantly and rapidly evolving forum of new ideas on the global architectural scene.
