The primary objective of the company is to produce and offer products with the lowest possible environmental impact. This approach is not limited to its own facilities; it extends across the supply chain, local communities, potentially affected groups, and all relevant stakeholders.
For this reason, we implement an Environmental Management System that complies with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and we have developed an action plan for environmental protection covering areas such as:
- The consumption of natural resources and primary & auxiliary materials
- Greenhouse gas emissions and other air pollutants
- The management of solid and liquid waste
- Water quality and its pollution prevention
- The prevention of environmental nuisances
- Continuous staff training on environmental issues
This plan is continuously monitored, reviewed, and improved to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with the increasing demands of sustainable development.
The objectives that govern the Company’s environmental policy are as follows:
• Minimization of waste through recycling, reuse, and reduction of generated waste.
• Reduction of noise and other disturbances through integrated project planning, in order to minimize the overall impact on the surrounding environment etc.
• Rational management of lubricants used in production.
• Rational management of raw materials for the construction of projects and prudent use of natural resources in general such as energy, water, etc.
• Protection of employees and ensuring conditions that support a balanced approach to issues arising from the interaction between the workplace and the broader environment.
• Strengthening environmental awareness among employees through continuous information and training.
