For the third consecutive year, ELVIAL welcomed students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Texas A&M University to its facilities, as part of an initiative that strengthens the connection between academia and modern industry and manufacturing.

For the third consecutive year, ELVIAL welcomed students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Texas A&M University

The 19 students were welcomed on behalf of the Management by Mr. Giannis Mertzios, Mechanical Engineer, Export Manager Industrial Division, and Mr. Nikos Kyriakou, Civil Engineer, Technical Manager.

During the visit, Mr. Giannis Mertzios delivered a corporate presentation to the students, highlighting current trends and technological developments in the aluminium industry, while demonstrating the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application in real technical and production environments. At the same time, innovative applications and projects developed by the company were presented, further enhancing the students’ understanding of the demands and prospects of modern mechanical engineering and industrial production.

Following the presentation, Mr. Stefanos Sfikas, Electrical Engineer and Production Director, guided the students through the company’s production, research and development facilities, offering them a comprehensive overview of the advanced technologies and modern manufacturing processes implemented by ELVIAL. The students had the opportunity to experience high-tech mechanical equipment firsthand and observe production processes that combine innovation, precision and high-quality standards.
