Akropolis Residences is a study in contemporary minimalism, where architectural composition is shaped through the balance of volume, light, and transparency. The project reinterprets the Mediterranean apartment typology, translating the needs of modern urban living into a clear geometric expression.

Its identity is defined through the layering of volumes and the rhythmic organization of its façades, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that evolves throughout the day.

VOLUMETRIC COMPOSITION AND GEOMETRIC LAYERING

The composition is based on shifted horizontal slabs, forming deep projections and generous outdoor living spaces. The white, interlocking volumes break down the building’s scale into a series of clean, geometric frames. Slender, dark columns enhance the sense of structural lightness, allowing the upper volumes to appear as if they are floating.

FACADE RHYTHM AND SHADING

The architectural language of the façade is structured through a strict vertical rhythm. Deep-set openings, framed by anthracite metal elements, function as filters for light and shading. The sliding system ELVIAL SL46 SI² enhance transparency and the flow between interior and exterior spaces, while the windows ELVIAL W60BS SI² contribute to the clarity of the façade and functional flexibility. ELVIAL systems are seamlessly integrated into the composition, offering thermal control and privacy without disrupting the overall geometry.

CONTEMPORARY LIVING WITH CLIMATE RESPONSIVENESS

The project stands as a refined example of climate-responsive design. Deep cantilevers, shading strategies, and façade organization transform functional requirements, such as solar protection and the creation of outdoor living spaces, into primary architectural elements.
