On Friday, May 30, 2025, ELVIAL welcomed 50 professionals and students specializing in industry and automation to its facilities, as part of the SEV Skills4Jobs program — an initiative that ELVIAL actively supports.
This action is part of a broader effort to bridge the gap between the labor market and vocational education, confirming the importance of strengthening young people's skills and understanding the real needs of modern industry
The visit was opened by Ms. Tania Tzika, President of ELVIAL, who shared the company’s vision, values, and strategic direction — with a strong emphasis on innovation, technological progress, and human development.
Specialized presentations followed by Mr. Nikos Kyriakou, Technical Manager and part of ELVIAL’s senior management, and Mr. Pavlos Vagionas, Plant Manager, provided in-depth insights into industrial processes and the demands of modern professions in the fields of mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering.
Participants were then guided through ELVIAL’s production facilities, where they had the opportunity to observe advanced technologies in action and engage with front-line employees. This experience greatly contributed to a deeper understanding of the professional environment and the skills it requires.
The visit concluded with a lively Q&A session, where attendees expressed genuine interest — sharing questions, thoughts, and excitement about what they had seen and learned. Their active participation highlighted the importance of direct exposure to industrial reality and the value of experiential learning.
ELVIAL remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the connection between industry and education, investing in people and laying the foundations for a future built on knowledge, technology, and meritocracy
