With a strong commitment to creating a positive social impact and supporting education, ELVIAL participated in an important initiative that brings knowledge, technology, and innovation closer to students living in Greece’s remote island communities.

Through its collaboration with Eduact, ELVIAL contributed to the donation of educational robotics equipment to the Primary School of Folegandros. The equipment was delivered as part of the 12th Voyage of Symplefsi, during which Eduact implemented educational robotics activities across remote Greek islands.

This initiative aims to provide children living on a remote island with access to modern educational tools, enabling them to explore the world of educational robotics and STEM through hands-on activities and experiential learning. In this way, students develop skills related to technology, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. At the same time, the initiative promotes equal learning opportunities, regardless of geographical location.

Folegandros was a particularly important stop of the mission, with students and educators enthusiastically welcoming the new equipment and the opportunities it will offer for the educational process in the upcoming school year.

The initiative was implemented within the framework of the 12th Voyage of Symplefsi, a long-standing institution dedicated to supporting Greece’s remote island communities. Through social, educational, and cultural interventions, Symplefsi actively enhances the quality of life of island residents while promoting equal access to opportunities and services.

For ELVIAL, education and skills development are key pillars of its social contribution strategy. Through initiatives that promote knowledge, technology, and innovation, the company invests in the potential of the next generation, helping create equal opportunities for learning and development for all.
